Are you ready for Universal's BRAND NEW PARK coming in 2025? Epic Universal might just revolutionize the theme park industry! Today, I will explain Epic Universe to you and why it might be Orlando's best new park!
Epic Universe is Universal's new park located a bit farther away from the rest of Universal Orlando Resort, actually closer to the airport and the Orange County Convention Center. If you are at the main Universal Orlando Resort (the two parks), you will need to take a bus, similar to how you go to Volcano Bay.
But what will Epic Universe have?
Epic Universe will feature different IPs from various generations. In fact, some of these themed lands already exist in other Universal theme parks! Let's start from the beginning, and by that, I mean the entrance. We will enter via an arch! Instead of a main street, there will be a large garden with a lake and a flat ride (carousel). Each land will be separate from this main garden. You will enter this "gate" similar to how you do so at Diagon Alley. Our tour will be counterclockwise on the concept art.
Super Nintendo World
Similar to the version at Universal Studios Japan, this land will have a Mario Kart ride and a Yoshi-themed people-mover-esque ride. Additionally, there will be a Donkey Kong mini-land that's also coming to Universal Studios Japan. This will feature a Donkey Kong coaster that will "jump" the fake tracks.
Next up is a land themed to Universal Monsters, from landscapes of European villages to what might just be the park's best ride: a KUKA Arm dark ride. Yes, similar to Forbidden Journey. Additionally, there will also be a roller coaster. So, this might just be the land for you.
Next to the Monsters land will be a hotel, similar to Disneyland Hotel (Paris) or Disney Hotel Miracosta. By that, I mean that after the park closes, you can sleep near the park (if you have the money). According to rumors, this will be Universal Grand Hells Hotel if the trademarks are to be treated seriously.
Right next to the hotel is a new Harry Potter land. Now, according to rumors (and simple observation), this land was supposed to be dedicated to Fantastic Beasts but has since changed after the not-so-successful last Fantastic Beasts movies. It has become simply Harry Potter (again). This time, it is in France, with views of glamorous Paris and places like the Sacre Cour in the background. But what about the main attraction? Well, that long-rumored Ministry of Magic attraction might be coming true with a British Ministry of Magic ride. Yes, if the rumors are to be believed, this ride will recreate the iconic scenes from the movies, similar to Rise of the Resistance. The main villain will apparently be that pink lady from the movies, whatever her name is.
Located near the Harry Potter French land will be a MACK Rides roller coaster, specifically a dueling coaster.
The last land is "How to Train Your Dragon." Are you ready to enter a world where humans and dragons coexist? Then get ready to experience a roller coaster and an awesome theater!
Epic Universe is coming really soon, in 2025, and it has theme park fans on the edge of their seats! What is your favorite part of Epic Universe? Special thanks to Alicia Stella and Bioreconstruct for the info in this article.
