Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel Guide

Hong Kong Disneyland has been entertaining guests since 2005 and now features three awesome hotels, but which one should you choose? Well, in this guide, I will provide an in-depth look to see what suits you best.

Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel

Similar to the Grand Floridian and Disneyland Hotel (Paris), this accommodation offers the mix of Disney and Victorian architecture. Featuring a topiary maze and an awesome pool, there are three options of rooms ranging from Standard to sea view. Yes, all of Hong Kong Disneyland's hotels have a view of the endless sea. This hotel is also an amenity dream, offering tennis courts and even a little playground. What can you find at this hotel, though?

Enchanted Garden Restaurant (credit: Disney)

There is Walt's Cafe, Crystal Lotus, and the Enchanted Garden restaurant. So you can see there are many dining options to fill your stomach. The large windows give a lot of sunlight to the elegant lobby. I recommend this hotel for those who want a familiar Disney experience. If you are a fan of tennis, I also recommend this hotel.

Disney Explorers Lodge

Adventurers, get ready for an epic expedition through one of Disney's best hotels. Yes, you heard me right! While Disney Explorers Lodge might seem like a rip-off of Animal Kingdom Lodge, I can assure you it is much more! This hotel is full of little details, everything from the main lobby to the small gardens is sure to impress, celebrating the different continents. Even the little TV room in the lobby is full of detail! Even the room number sign features some easter eggs. If you are feeling adventurous, you can also book the expensive Adventurers Suite (if available).

Chart Room Cafe (credit: Disney)

Now, even the most experienced Disney fans need to eat, and this hotel also features many dining options: Dragon Wind (for those looking for a traditional Cantonese dining experience), World of Color restaurant (not related to the show, this is the main buffet), and Chart Room Cafe. The main store is the trading post. Overall, if you are going to Hong Kong Disneyland, I definitely recommend and encourage you to stay here!

Hollywood Hotel (credit: Disney)

Disney's Hollywood Hotel

The last hotel celebrates the fame and glory of Hollywood, from detailed Art Deco and Art Moderne architecture to its impressive size. This hotel is sure to impress, with a recently renovated lobby featuring many nods to Disney characters. There is the impressive pool that is shaped like a piano and even a Hollywood sign! Dining here is more limited, as we only have a Lounge (The Archivist) and a buffet (Ink & Paint) that used to be Chef Mickey's. Hollywood Hotel is for those looking for a more value experience while taking advantage of the Disney difference.

Disney unveils a NEW hotel in Shanghai...

Get ready, Disney fans, as a new hotel is on its way to Shanghai Disneyland, and I haven't seen anyone talking about this, at least on major news sites like WDWNT. So, let's take a closer look at this new Art Nouveau hotel! During the opening of Zootopia , Josh D’amaro took the stage with concept art for this project, credit to 吃喝玩乐在上海 for the image. We were able to obtain this information from Xue Bingbing: “Regarding the future plans for the Shanghai Disney Resort, Dai Mingzhe said that Disney is currently planning to build the third resort hotel. On the day of the opening ceremony, the concept image of the third resort hotel was also released.” Shanghai Disney Resort already offers the Toy Story Hotel and Shanghai Disneyland Hotel , so we are excited about what's in store. Keep in mind that SHDL has major expansion plans, so keep your eyes open, as we might see a new land (with a roller coaster) and even a second gate in the future (all based on zoning, planning a

Disneyland's Red Car Trolley closing permanently

Disneyland Resort revealed the closure of another classic attraction, this time its the Red Car Trolley at DCA in early 2025... The announcement was made public via a tweet by  @ScottGustin , he said: "NEW: Avengers Campus construction at DCA, set to begin in early 2025, will require the removal of the backstage Red Car Trolley barn and will result in Disney discontinuing operation of the attraction in early 2025, Disneyland officials said. A specific date will be shared later." This suggests that the future of the attraction is likely uncertain and most likely is set to close FOREVER! To understand why the Red Car Trolley is closing forever we need to look back and understand why it exists in the first place! When Disney's California Adventure opened in 2001 it featured no Trolley at all, in fact the entrance experience was different. To describe it in 2024 is complicated, think of a giant post card with The Monorail Passing Thru the Golden Gate Bridge. This Post-modern

Get ready, coaster enthusiasts and theme park fans, because SeaWorld Orlando is gearing up to welcome this exciting addition! Epic Universe: Universal's NEW park

Are you ready for Universal's BRAND NEW PARK coming in 2025? Epic Universal might just revolutionize the theme park industry! Today, I will explain Epic Universe to you and why it might be Orlando's best new park! Epic Universe is Universal's new park located a bit farther away from the rest of Universal Orlando Resort, actually closer to the airport and the Orange County Convention Center. If you are at the main Universal Orlando Resort (the two parks), you will need to take a bus, similar to how you go to Volcano Bay. But what will Epic Universe have? Epic Universe will feature different IPs from various generations. In fact, some of these themed lands already exist in other Universal theme parks! Let's start from the beginning, and by that, I mean the entrance. We will enter via an arch! Instead of a main street, there will be a large garden with a lake and a flat ride (carousel). Each land will be separate from this main garden. You will enter this "gate&quo

New Back to the Future the ride opens... But it's not what you think

The biggest surprise of the year just happened, a new Back to the Future inspired ride opened, but not at Universal... Fans of the IP might be eager to experience a new ride, unfortunately I have bad news: It's from Movieland Studios in Italy! "We Are Back: Kids from the Future" is the newest ride in the park that just premiered, and it shares some striking resemblance to the Iconic 80s & 90s movies. The park describes this attraction as:               " We Are Back: Kids from the Future is a simulator that is based on characters of the Back to the Future-film franchise. It revolves around the children and grandchildren of Dr. Emmet 'Doc' Brown.  The ride system includes 8 benches seating 6 people, making for 48 people per ride. Benches are placed in two rows of 4 benches." The entrance features a sign reading: ' Dr. Brown & Sons enterprises', Possibly referring to Jules and Verne that appear in the last movie of the franchise. The int
